The Civil War

June 24th - July 1st

Hello class! As you know, this past week we focused on the Civil War. After learning so many interesting facts about the war, it is now your turn to teach me what you know!

The Civil War was fought between 1861 and 1865 and lasted 4 years.

4 years of history, 1 assignment to cover.

Assignment:

You will be picking any one of the following Civil War topics:

-Ft. Sumter

-First Battle of Bull Run

-The Seven Days

-Second Battle of Bull Run

-Antietam

-Fredricksburg

-Emancipation Proclamation

-Gettysburg

-13th Amendment

-Lincoln Dies By Assassination

-Slavery Abolished

Then, after choosing one. You will create a PPT or Prezi Presentation explaining the topic. You must explain the event, include the date this event occurred, how it occurred, who was involved, what was the outcome and what is its significance in US history.

It is required of you to include at least 5 pictures related to (any area) of event and 5 sources. Lastly, at the end, include an MLA works cited page.

You can find all of your info online or even at the library, just make sure you have reliable sources. Feel free to use videos as well!
