I have been teaching US history for about 7 years now and words cant explain my love for it. It amazes me to know that so many significant events occurred before us that we were never able to witness yet it changed the lives of so many individuals and it shaped the future of America. As an American born and raised Cuban, I am very proud to live in a country which offers so much opportunity to those who live in it. A place I can call home and that someday will be home to my children and their children.
